“Don’t get me wrong, I love my 360, but after going through the repair process (2 times), I am slowly beginning to fall out of love. And the 1800-4-my-xbox rep’s don’t know jack! A group of drunken monkeys could run that place better.” ~At The Rabies Blog
**Mr. Angel and I have been wanting a newer system, but I am hesitant to spend money of that type on something that I have heard so many people say is so “bug-ee” . They completely love the overall experience of the game play, but are disappointed with the quality of the product.
In a true “free-market” type society I think a business would focus on improving the quality of the product. But, for some reason competition with one another is the only thing many of the corporations can focus on.. “keeping up with the Jones’”…
It is kind of pathetic, all this jockeying for “money”. They would get more of what they desire, if they would focus instead on self improvement, and betterment of their product.
It is great as far as I am concerned, because I secretly desire the P3. The cross platform is a big seller for me. I do enjoy new games, but many of my most played games are definately more “vintage”. And, for me, that is one of the keys in my choice.
Technology hounds crave the “newest” attribute, while gamers want to play their games again and again, and, a quality product lets us enjoy our favorites, while getting to experience it in a higher quality resolution of the graphics. In a true freemarket, I believe that improvement is gained by catering to the “Consumer” rather than “chasing the dollar”. These companies need to stop being “everything to everyone”, and instead focus on making a superior product based on customer “demands”.
*shrug* At least, that is how I think about it. What about you? What sort of system do you play on, and why?
Quizzically yours,
